Recap from Tuesday until this very moment

On Tuesday I went swimming at Julie’s house. Her pool is heated, but we were still cold, so we just floated around for the most part. After we got out of the pool we wanted to play her brother’s Wii, only she had to pay him 2 dollars to get the pin code just to play the game. I still say I wouldn’t have paid him, but ah well. Then we looked through her music library on the computer until my dad came to pick me up. We ate pizza for dinner since Megan had a friend over, and that night, she and the friend spent the night at her friend’s house, so I had some peace and quiet. It was nice. The next day I went to Taco Bell with Melissa, Caitlin, Kyle, Alicia, Katie A, Luke, and Matt. I met Melissa and Caitlin at Melissa’s, and we walked as a group over to Katie’s, and from there went to Taco Bell. It was pretty fun, even though we were cramped into a booth. We laughed about random things, like Billy Corgan’s bald head, and Melissa and I told Caitlin about the dog from Partridge Creek. That story never gets old. After a few hours we walked Caitlin to her house, then to Melissa’s. It started raining right when we got there, so Melissa’s mom drove me home. A few hours later I went to church with Christiani. It was fun for the most part, but we played dodgeball with guys, and they’re wayyyy too competitive. They kept screaming and whipping the ball at everyone, and the immature junior highers were acting…well, immature.

So today, I went with my mom and sister to iHop. We met my aunt there, and she kept talking about my cousin and how he’s getting a car. I must have added my two cents in, which apparently no one really appreciates, because my mom kept kicking me and finally I said, “Mom, why do you keep kicking me?!” I wasn’t thinking, obviously. Needless to say, I didn’t say too much for the rest of the time. We went to Macomb Mall afterwards, and I (finally) bought two new pairs of flip flops and a new pair of bermuda shorts. It’s been raining all day, so I just plan on using the rest of today reading and just chilling out.

Tomorrow, my parents and I are touring Eastern. I’m so thrilled, I cannot wait. We’re going to be gone all day, looking at everything on the campus, even the dorms. The best part is, I’ll be meeting with a counselor, and they’ll be able to look at my transcript and tell me if I would be accepted or denied if I were to apply. Of course I’ll still formally apply, but this will tell me if I should even bother. I’m kind of nervous though. I really hope they tell me I’ll get accepted. I’m still considering other colleges of course, but Eastern is my first choice. Gahh, wish me luck!
